From Church Posting

The member app

One free app in the App Store and Google Play for the members of any church that uses Covenant OS, our church management software. It opens plain and gray, and the moment a member picks your church it takes on your church's name, colors and words.

Arrives with the Covenant OS beta on Tuesday, December 1, 2026

  • Find your church: the gray first screen with a search box, Near me and Church code buttons, a map, and four churches nearby
  • A sample church's sign-in screen, in its own navy with its gold initials, offering a phone number, an email link, Apple or Google
  • The home screen for a member of the sample church: a greeting, Sunday at 10:30 with the sermon, the member's own serving job, and six tiles

Plain and gray, then the church's own colors, then home, with a sample church.

Finding your church

A member searches by church name or city, taps Near me, types the church code printed on your bulletin, or follows a link you send. Someone new can look around first and sign in later.

  • Find your church, with a search box, Near me, Church code and a list of churches nearby

Search, use your location, or type a code.

  • Church code: the member types the code from the bulletin, sees the church's card, and taps This is my church

The code is on the bulletin and the church website.

  • The church's sign-in screen in its own colors

The church's colors and name take over.

  • Your churches: a member who belongs to two churches switches between them, with one sign-in for both

One sign-in works at a home church and a college church.

What a member sees

Home shows the coming Sunday, the member's own job that morning and six tiles: Give, Serve, Prayer, Groups, Kids and Events. Messages from the church and the member's own page sit in the bar at the bottom.

More about the member app

It works without a signal
This Sunday's order of service, the sermon notes and the household's pickup code stay on the phone, so they open in a basement fellowship hall. A serving reply or a prayer request made offline waits and sends when the signal returns, and sermon audio can be downloaded to listen later.
Your church's own words
The tiles, the tabs and the greeting use the words your church uses. One church's app says Sunday and sermon, and another's says weekend and message, from the same software.
Giving stays yours
Gifts go through your church's own giving page in Covenant OS, by fund, once or on a schedule, and Covenant OS adds no fee of its own to a gift. On an iPhone, giving opens in the browser unless the church holds Apple's nonprofit approval.
Plain in the stores
The app carries a neutral name and a gray icon in the App Store and Google Play, with no Church Posting or Covenant OS branding, so what a member sees is their church. A church that wants its own name on the icon can have a church app of its own.

The app comes with the beta

Every church in the Covenant OS beta gets the member app for its members from Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Beta churches use Covenant OS free, and we publish prices before the beta ends.
