A funeral program, ready to print

Choose from twelve free funeral program templates. Add the name, dates, photograph, obituary, order of service and pallbearers directly on the page. Your browser saves your work as you go. Print without an account. Downloads use the email step, which signed-in visitors skip.

Choose the eight-page memorial service program for Scripture, hymn words and two photo collage pages. The same photographs make a memorial slideshow, and your design carries through to the thank-you cards and memorial bookmark.

Printing and sharing

A letter program folds to 5.5 × 8.5 inches. A legal program folds to 7 × 8.5 inches. The print-order view shows each sheet with the panels in folding order. Print one test copy at actual size, double-sided, with short-edge binding before printing the full run.

Print-shop PDFs include 0.125-inch bleed and crop marks. Thank-you cards measure 7 × 5 inches; bookmarks measure 2 × 7 inches. The proof link opens a read-only copy. For a photo-heavy program, download the proof file and send it to the family or funeral home.

Funeral program questions

What should a funeral program include?

Include the person's name and dates, the service date and place, and the order of service. Add a photograph, obituary, readings, song titles, pallbearers and acknowledgments as the family requests. Ask the family and pastor to approve names, dates and the final service order before printing.

How do I choose a funeral order of service?

Ask the pastor or service leader to confirm the order. A Christian funeral can include an opening prayer, Scripture, congregational singing, a sermon, family tributes and a closing prayer. Agree on who speaks and where each song belongs. Follow the church's service practice and the family's requests.

Can I print a funeral program without an account?

Yes. Use Print to open your browser's print dialog without an account. Downloading a PDF uses the email step, which signed-in visitors skip. Save to account lets you keep a program across devices.

Which paper sizes can I use?

Choose a letter half-fold, legal half-fold, eight-page photo booklet or single letter page. A folded letter program measures 5.5 by 8.5 inches. A folded legal program measures 7 by 8.5 inches. Print one proof at actual size before printing copies for the service.

How do I add music to the program?

Choose the songs with the family, pastor and musician. Browse the funeral hymn collection to check titles and tunes, then add the selected titles and verses to your service order. Confirm the text and permission for any words you print.

What should I check before sending the program to a printer?

Read every name and date aloud with a family member. Confirm the service order with the pastor and check the photograph crop. Use the fold and print order view, print a double-sided test with short-edge binding, and fold it to check that the pages appear in order.

Choose music with the family from the funeral hymns collection.
