Sikeston Community Pastor

Job Summary: The Sikeston Community Pastor is primarily responsible for giving pastoral leadership,
growth strategies, and direction to the Sikeston Community Gathering, under the guidance and authority
of La Croix’s central leadership.

Primary Accountabilities: The individual filling this position will be held accountable to the following goals and will be successful in this position if these goals are met:

• Discipleship: The Sikeston Community Gathering will thrive in leading people to wholeheartedly follow Jesus.
• Growth: The Sikeston Community Gathering will reach people in the Sikeston community as a thriving location of the larger La Croix family.
• Vision and Mission: The people of the Sikeston Community Gathering will rally around La Croix’s vision and mission, fully embodying the DNA of La Croix.

Duties & Responsibilities, not limited to:
-Implement strategic planning for the evangelism efforts and growth of the Sikeston Community Gathering
-Oversee pastoral care of the Sikeston Community Gathering
-Communicate the mission vision and values of La Croix Church to the Sikeston Community Gathering
-Establish a fully functioning Sikeston Operations Team that will oversee our disciple-making strategy (RCES)
-Develop, lead and equip future Sikeston Community Gathering staff and current lay ministry leaders
-Collaborate with the Lead Campus staff about weekend programming, missions, and other ministry initiatvies, receiving central support as needed
-Oversee the execution of weekend worship experiences at the Sikeston Community Gathering
-Develop strategies to expand, reach and serve more people in the local community, creating and empower teams to implement these strategies
-Build relationships within the church body and outside the church walls
