POSITION TITLE: Kids Events Director REPORTS TO: Children’s Pastor STATUS: Volunteer Leader
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To plan, lead, and coordinate the New Hope Kids Events targeted at outreach and church family building. This person will be instrumental in creating a regular invite culture for New Hope Kids and families.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ideates and executes monthly ministry-wide Sunday events, both outreach and intra-church
- Ideates and executes semi-monthly midweek family events, both outreach and intra-church
- Works with Children’s Pastor to lock in event ideas and find best timing for events
- Recruits volunteers and staff necessary for events
- Casts vision for the development of New Hope Kids invite culture
- Attends quarterly All-Staff meetings (in-person) and semi-weekly Kids Team meetings (in-person or Zoom)
