POSITION TITLE: Local Missions Director REPORTS TO: Missions Director STATUS: Volunteer Leader
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To liaison with New Hope’s local missions partners and local missions department leaders to create involvement and seamless integration with the larger church body.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaisons with City Life Church in pursuit of helping make sure they have what they need for their pantry and in general
- Plans and executes drives to restock City Life
- Works with Prison Ministry to make sure they have what they need and to pass on any requests for churchwide communication
- Recruiting, scheduling and notifying volunteers for any special initiatives for the above
- Casts vision for the development of Local Missions
- Disciples their team and serves as mediator and advocate between team and Missions Director
- Attends quarterly All-Staff meetings (in-person) and semi-weekly Missions meetings (in-person or Zoom)

- Typically 10 hours per week
